These cities are Western Canada's foremost centers, attracting visitors and business from around the world. Each of these cities have their own unique history and culture, offering a great starting point to your holiday.
FROM CITY TO VALEMOUNT
You have three choices of transportation to employ for your journey to and from Valemount, British Columbia. Rent a car, Via Rail passenger train and Greyhound bus. Depending on which city you arrive in and which type of transportation you choose, this trip can take as little as five hours, to as many days as you like. Because of Valemount's central location, you may choose to arrive at one destination and depart from another. Many of our guests come a long way, and choose to take a few days travelling to and from Valemount in order to see more of the area.
Our highways are new and well maintained, so driving from any of these destinations can be done easily within the hour time indicated. Bus and rail travel may take a little longer because of scheduled stops along the way.
Traveling through Alberta or British Columbia from any of these destinations is exceptionally scenic and offers a full range of services. Most people enjoy their entire Western Canadian holiday traveling these highways. Jasper and the park requires a pass, you can buy it at the gates. Participating in a back-country adventure, as well as cruising these highways, adds value to your holiday and ensures you will experience the best Western Canada has to offer.
